A non-governmental organization representing the indigenous Garifuna people of Belize. Our mission is to preserve, strengthen and develop our culture as well as promote economic development of the Garifuna people.

We are a tax exempt educational and charitable eorganization in California.  Our purpose is to preserve the uniqueness of the Garifuna culture, history, language, music, arts & crafts and spirituality by working closely with the Garifuna community not only in Los Angeles County, but throughout the world.  We seek to enhance and showcase the image and vision of the Garifuna people through education, music and the arts.  

The Garifuna Settlement Day Group is a non-profit tax exempt organization that has existed in California from the early sixties. Our goal is to expose our world to other people. This includes our dances, music and folklore.

Our Club shares the vision of empowering the Garifunas and Afro Latinos in general with investing
knowledge.

We specialize in cotillion styled choreography for Sweet 16’s and Quinceaneras, while promoting positive self-esteem to the birthday girl and her participants.

The Dance school is a spin-off from the Sweet 16 and Quinces that the company has done. Over the years our company has worked with many youth, through its creations of choreography for Sweet 16’s and Quinceaneras. Without realizing it, the company was providing youth with a source of hope and pride in them selves. The above mentioned company has also been instrumental in removing youth from gangs and other violent situations.

Specializing in creating custom sneakers with colors and images not available through major shoe companies.
